AmSafe Bridport has an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our successful company based at our head office in Bridport Dorset.
AmSafe is a worldwide market leader for cargo restraints and protection systems in aviation and defence; we design, develop & manufacture world-class engineered textile solutions for the safety & securement needs of the global aerospace and defence industries.
Working with major aircraft manufacturers, our products include cargo restraint solutions, airframe safety systems, aircraft safety equipment and RPG protection.

This vacancy would suit applicants from a mechanical engineering background with an HNC/HND or Degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering and good working knowledge of Solidworks, CATIA and DDM. Some aerospace experience would be ideal but applicants with experience of highly regulated industries such as rail or nuclear could also be a good fit.

Provide engineering assistance and support to the Lead Engineer of the assigned business unit / product line in the delivery of projects and programmes and the innovation and development of new products whilst continuously developing own engineering and project management skills to ensure both are current and fit for purpose and relevant to the Company’s dynamic engineering and commercial context.
