AmSafe Bridport has a great opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to join our Airframes business unit as Head of Americas. The role will be UK based from our head office in Bridport Dorset, with the opportunity for extensive travel in the region.
AmSafe is a worldwide market leader for cargo restraints and protection systems in aviation and defence; we design, develop & manufacture world-class engineered textile solutions for the safety & securement needs of the global aerospace and defence industries.
Working with major aircraft manufacturers, our products include airframe safety systems, aircraft safety equipment, cargo restraint solutions and RPG protection.
We have manufacturing, operational and service facilities in the UK, North America and Sri Lanka.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Airframes Business Unit Manager and Buena Park General Manager to create and implement a strategy for growth in the Airframes Business Unit.
The role will involve creating, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities with both OEM and Defence customers. Leading profitable new business generation in the region and develop an effective strategy that leads to a steady pipeline of prospects that ultimately leads to profitable new business.
The successful candidate will also work closely with a small sales and customer support team ensuring both teams are aligned in achieving growth strategies by developing a challenging environment that encourages personal growth and teamwork.
This role would suit a highly ambitious and driven individual who is looking to develop their skills and knowledge and ultimately to become a part of the AmSafe succession plan and progress their career. The role will be office based in Bridport, Dorset, with potential for a hybrid working arrangement, and will offer the opportunity for extensive business travel.
