The Role

This is a diverse role which will require you to proactively lead a Sales Administration team supporting both local and global business units with a high level of customer service. Responsibilities include :

  • Ensure business objectives’ success through the team for service quality, response times, and building good customer relations.
  • Act as liaison between global business units, interpreting their needs into operational requirements.
  • Efficient production planning of multiple product lines across facilities, understanding customer and profit implications.
  • Manage inventory in global consignment warehouses, determining optimum control levels and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare diverse sales plans & forecasts, support tender and quotation preparations to win contracts.
  • Monitor and record team performance, provide timely feedback, and deploy development plans for subordinates
The Candidate

Ideally holds an MBA from an accredited university and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Finance disciplines.

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Working experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrates good negotiation skills, effective organising, and customer handling abilities.
  • Possesses high-level leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and self-confidence for interfacing with customers and departments in overseas locations.
  • Ability to motivate, influence, and train people.
  • High fluency in English (written and oral) is essential.
  • Flexibility with working hours to support global operations.
