The discussion paper debates the needs for reform in pharmaceutical logistics practice and explores the need for new relationships between stakeholders.
Week 4: A Blueprint for Action – The First Steps
There are two basic types of Integrated Pharma-Logistics Network:
1. Inclusive Network: one that includes (and is usually formed at the instigation of) a major client i.e. a pharma shipper.
2. Exclusive Network: one that is conceived by, and consists of, a group of like-minded suppliers that have come together and developed a joined up logistics offering which they can then take to shippers.
